Dua Lipa’s outfit hailed as ‘the craziest pull’ of the Met Gala
Dup Lipa has outshone other A-listers attending the highly anticipated 2023 Met Gala, wearing an incredible accessory to the high-brow event.
The Met Gala is one of the biggest nights in the fashion calendar, with the annual arts fundraiser organised by Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour.
Each year the star-studded event has a new theme, with this year’s ball celebrating the life and work of late German designer, Karl Lagerfeld.
Dua Lipa looked incredible as she wore Chanel couture in tribute to the fashion icon – who passed away in 2019 aged 85.

The 'One Kiss' singer looked every bit the blushing bride as she graced the red carpet last night (1 May) in a vintage Chanel wedding dress.
Originally worn by Claudia Schiffer in 1992, the bridal gown featured Chanel’s signature tweed with a corset bodice, black detailing and fringe trim.
Unlike the German supermodel though, Lipa decided to not wear the matching hat and jacket as she walked the iconic red carpet.
Instead, the 'New Rules' musician opted for a glittering diamond necklace, which was on loan from jewellers Tiffany’s - something all fans have very much had their eyes on since the outfit was unveiled.
The moment has been dubbed 'craziest pull’ of the night by fashionistas, as Lipa showed off the never-seen-before Lucida Star Necklace – worth an estimated $10 million (£8m).
According to Harper’s Bazaar, the necklace has been 'reset with a diamond that mirrors the proportions of the world renown Tiffany Diamond, one of the largest yellow diamonds in the world' and has over 100 carats of 'brilliant cut white diamonds'.
Speaking to Vogue about her incredible ensemble, Lipa admitted that she’d admired the dress forever.
“This dress is a very special dress. It's a 1992 Fall bride dress – Chanel, by Karl, of course,” she said and confessed: "…it’s been on my moodboards forever. When the opportunity came I was just like, ‘Is there any way I can find this dress?’"
The 27-year-old then gushed: “It’s a big dream come true for me.”
When asked about her very expensive accessory, the singer revealed that Tiffany’s had brought the necklace out of their archives especially for her.
She excitedly told the fashion magazine: “This is a very special Tiffany necklace. It hasn’t been seen before so I feel excited to showcase it here today. They pulled it out the vault for me!”
