Bride lets bridesmaids wear white to wedding as she claims she doesn't need the attention

Gretzie Parth had been targeted by trolls after she uploaded a video of her special day to TikTok.

A US bride has shared the reason why she wanted her bridesmaids to wear white on her wedding day.

Gretzie Parth had been targeted by trolls after she uploaded a video of her special day to TikTok, which showed the bridal party in various white gowns.

However, the newlywed didn’t regret her decision and hit back at the comments in a new video.

In her previous video, Parth showed her and the other women excitedly getting ready for the big day together.

Dressed in satin gowns with a halter neck, the bridesmaids looked stunning beside the bride who was dressed in a bejewelled gown with a mermaid-style train.

Though all eyes were on the blushing bride, it didn’t stop some mean-spirited users in the comments from teasing Parth.

"So beautiful I'm sorry who is the bride again?" wrote one user, whilst another added: “I couldn't tell whose the bride tho."

One user even pointedly commented on the maid of honour’s corset-style dress, saying: "The girl on her right looks like the bride to [sic]."

However, Parth says that she’s happy with the ‘timeless look’ that the bridal party had on the day.

The make-up artist even confessed that the hurtful jibes made ‘her laugh’, as she spoke about her decision on TikTok.

"Comments like this honestly make me laugh," she joked, adding: "I don't know about you, but I love a timeless look."

She said that no other colour had stood out to her despite attending hundreds of wedding as a make-up artist.

"I am a bridal makeup artist, and I will tell you what, in the seven years that I have serviced a bridal party, there hasn't one time been a colour that has ever stuck out to me where I'm like, hmm, I wanna do that," Parth explained.

Whilst most of us would probably want to stand out on our wedding day, the make-up artist explained that she was more than happy for her bridal party to take centre stage on the big day.

"I'll tell you what, it's my wedding day,” she said.

"My husband-to-be knows who I am, and I don't care for that kind of attention,” Parth said, adding: "My bridal party is so hot, and I want them to look and feel that way, too."

She even explained that she wanted her sister, who was the maid of honour, to have pride of place beside her.

"And it's so funny cause some people were like, the maid of honour stole the show. Yeah, she better steal the show, that was the goal." she confessed.

We love a woman who uplifts other women.
