If you routinely get eyelash extensions you will know just how tricky it can be to try to keep your lashes from getting wet as you hop into the shower. But people have been blown away by a rather simple but incredibly effective lash protector which saves your lashes from being anywhere near the jet of running water. And best of all, it’s just £5!

Here’s everything you need to know about Lashify’s shower visor.

The rather ingenious design has impressed shoppers.

Coming in a pack of 10, these single use lash protectors can be applied directly to the face. You’ll just want to ensure that your skin is dry and free of any oils or lotions before doing so, to make sure that it adheres correctly.

Not only does it save your eyelash extensions from getting doused by water but it can also be a great way to preserve an especially intricate eye makeup look before an event or evening out, particularly if you’ve been to have your eye makeup professionally done earlier in the day.

You also might be aware of Lashify because of their at-home DIY lash extension kit and it’s this system which prompted them to create the shower visor to help shoppers get the most from their lash extensions.

It should be applied just above the eyebrows for the best fit.

How does it work?

Most lash technicians and beauty salons would recommend that you not get your lash extensions wet anywhere from eight to 48 hours after having them applied. This is because the adhesive used to attach the extensions to your lash line can often react negatively with water, meaning that the glue won’t set properly.

And after spending the time and money that you have to get your lashes done, the last thing you want is for them to start falling off or shedding just because you’ve had to jump into the shower.

The Lashisplash shower visor essentially works as a physical barrier between the water and your lashes underneath.

All you need to do is simply peel off the protective layer from the adhesive strip and aim to place it just above your eyebrows for the best fit and protection from the water above.

Even if you have your head directly under the stream of water, it should just bounce off the visor and away from your face and lashes.

What are customers saying?

With plenty of five-star reviews, shoppers have been raving about this innovative product.

One took to the Lashify website to share: “Lashisplash is such a necessity in my shower routine! Keeps my lashes dry in the shower, works very well and I’m so glad I purchased it!!”

While another remarked: “Usually I take my time washing my face and avoiding the lash area. These are great when you are in a hurry and need a quick shower and don’t want to worry about getting the lashes wet.”

A third even explained that the lash protector had also been beneficial for their baby daughter. They outlined: “Not only do I use these, but more so for my 11 month old. She HATES getting water and shampoo on her face during bath time, and these are a lifesaver!!!!! Works better than any baby products sold for that specific use! She's happy and I'm happy.”
