People are losing their minds over £35 Charlotte Tilbury product that ‘literally melts into your skin’

The Charlotte Tilbury product has plenty of rave reviews already

Foundation can be a bit hit or miss, particularly if you have drier or more dehydrated skin.

So, you can imagine how intrigued we were when we saw that Charlotte Tilbury was releasing her latest skincare product.

But is it as impressive as some of her other makeup items? And how does it fare on dry skin? Here’s everything you need to know about the brand new release.

What you need to know about Charlotte Tilbury's new product

Priced at £35, the foundation is available in 17 shades, taking you from the lightest to the deepest of skin tones. You could also choose a darker shade – normally two to three shades darker than you would usually opt for – to use it as a complementary contour.

And if you’re someone who often struggles to apply foundation, you may want to try out this game-changing launch. Generally speaking, products like this glide onto the skin, allowing you to blend them out, build up coverage and make sure that your entire face is covered in seconds.

They’re also ideal if you are looking for a travel-friendly foundation product, as not only will they not eat into your 100ml liquid hand luggage allowance, but you won’t have to worry about it leaking or spilling in your bag either.

If you routinely do your makeup on the go, whether that’s on your morning commute or when you get to your destination, having a foundation stick as part of your makeup arsenal could be a very smart idea.

But back to Charlotte’s new skincare launch.

What ingredients does the foundation include?

As foundation sticks can often cling to dry skin, the foundation stick has a number of impressive ingredients to combat this.

First of all, there’s Vitamin E. This antioxidant essentially works as a humectant, helping your skin to absorb moisture and then trapping it within the skin to keep it looking and feeling nourished and hydrated.

This particular foundation stick also contains hyaluronic acid, which helps to prevent moisture loss while simultaneously hydrating the skin. Meanwhile, daikon radish seed oil boosts hydration levels to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

The foundation can be applied directly onto the face and would also work as a great contour stick in a darker shade. (Charlotte Tilbury)

What are customers saying about the foundation stick?

Even though the new makeup product has only just launched, it already has a number of five-star reviews.

One fan took to the Charlotte Tilbury website to rave: “I loved using this great new product. It’s so easy to apply and I found it was great for buildable coverage on problem areas. The scent and colour was great too. The foundation lasted for many hours without needing any tweaks or top ups. It gave my skin a lovely glow and I was complimented about how well I looked.”

Another happy customer shared: “Wow this product is by far the best I’ve used in a long time. The shade matches my skin tone perfectly and has great texture and finish. The coverage is Amazing and it’s handy to pop in your handbag as it’s not too big.”

While a third said: “I really have difficulty in finding a foundation that doesn’t ‘cake’ on my dry skin so I was excited the first time I used this. It has great coverage but left my skin feeling hydrated. The packaging is luxurious and screams quality. You certainly get a quality product. I will be using this in the future but maybe a lighter shade."

The product is available at charlottetilbury.com.
