People on Twitter are debating how long you should wait between a first and second date - and there are some very mixed opinions on the matter.
Kicking off the debate, one person tweeted: "First date goes well, you both agree on a second date… what is a reasonable amount of time to wait for the second?
"I say one to two weeks."
Some agreed, with one pointing out: "I agree with the time frame. One to two weeks. Hopefully she’s a communicator who doesn’t mind talking on the phone, because I’m calling every day."

While another said: "I think one to two weeks is a good way not to get caught up on someone. I had a really healthy dating timeline with someone a few years ago and we started once a week for like a month and then it was like twice a week.
"My current partner started everyday and it was very hard to revert."
Others, however, said two weeks was way too long. Many argued around a week was the perfect timing, while others even said 'the same day'.

"A week at the most would be reasonable, two is overdoing it a tad," said one.
While another added: "If the vibe was really right, I’d want to see you the following weekend."
And a third wrote: "One week max if we live in the same area and our schedules permit. I’m not opposed to back to back dates if the first one went well."
Others said it totally depended on many factors, with one writing: "For me personally, it could be several days or it could be several hours just depends on the effort and if the energy and attraction is mutual."

"Two weeks??????? No way! It don’t matter. Anytime. Don’t wait! Life is too short!" Added another.
While a third said: "Next day please. Next damn day."
