A search is underway after a woman fell overboard on a Taylor Swift-themed Royal Caribbean cruise.

The Coast Guard announced that the 66-year-old woman is now missing after falling from the Allure of the Seas cruise ship around 9:40pm on Tuesday night (22 October).

This took place around 17 miles north of Nassau in the Bahamas after departing from Miami.

"Our crew immediately launched a search and rescue effort and is working with local authorities," a Royal Caribbean spokesperson said.
