We all knew that Elon Musk was rich, but he could be set to get even richer.
The tech entrepreneur is on track to earn a whopping $1 trillion, making him the first ever trillionaire.
Yes, one trillion dollars - which, at the time of writing, works out at around £760,145,000,000 - could be winging its way to his bank account after Tesla shareholders approved a shocking deal.
As per Forbes, Musk is already estimated to be worth $482 billion, and he has been promised the mega pay day if he manages to hit a series of financial targets set by the shareholders, over the next ten years.

The figure, which is sometimes referred to as one thousand billion or one million million, is mind-boggling for most and I'm sure you're thinking about how you'd spend it.

What could Elon Musk buy with $1,000,000,000,000?
A lot of Freddos, that's for sure.
If you laid out the total end-to-end in dollar bills, the distance covered would be around 156 billion metres.
In terms of how far that would travel, distance-wise, the dollars would circle the equator a staggering 3,890 times.
You could also easily reach the Sun (measuring roughly 149.6 million km away) or, to put it in perspective, you could loop from Earth to the Moon 405 times.
With the cash, Sky News reports that Musk could buy all of the Premier League football clubs if he fancied, for a mere $30 billion.
According to Sportico, Musk could also purchase all four major US sports leagues for ice hockey (NHL), baseball (MLB), basketball (NBA), and American football (NFL) for around $544 billion.
It's said that he could also snap up all of Tesla's rivals, too, with change left in the bank.
As per recent data from property website Zillow, it seems Musk could buy every single residential property in San Diego County for $1 trillion.

Unfortunately, he can't afford Seattle, as that's said to be $1.1 trillion, while Tennessee would cost $957 billion.
Even Musk can't afford London's house prices, as buying the entire city would cost just £2 trillion, says estate agents Savills.
On the off chance he feels like being charitable, the businessman could give every man, woman and child in the UK roughly $14,348.79 (£10,935.20).
He could also gift every single person on the planet $121.80 (£92.87) based on a global population of around 8.2 billion.
According to CNN Business, Musk could even afford to buy every single car that has been sold in the US this year or purchase 2,000 of the yachts Jeff Bezos owns.
Lend us a tenner, Elon.
