TikTok star Emilie Kiser has filed a lawsuit against multiple Maricopa County public offices to keep the records of her three-year-old son Trigg’s death private.
The 26-year-old is going through ‘a parent’s worst nightmare’ after her firstborn fell into the family pool on May 12, sustaining several injuries before being pulled from the water.
Chandler police were called to the Arizona-based property following reports of a possible drowning and CPR was immediately performed on Trigg by responding officers.

Paramedics took over in an attempt to save the boy's life.
Ruled by first responders to have been in critical condition, the youngster was then transferred via ambulance to a nearby medical facility - Chandler Regional Hospital.

He was later flown to Phoenix Children’s Hospital but devastatingly died of his injuries six days later, on May 18.

And on May 27, Kiser filed a lawsuit to keep records of her son’s death out of the public eye, two weeks after he died following the accidental drowning.
The suit, obtained by NBC News, details the grieving mother’s request that the court prohibit the release of any further details surrounding her son's death, describing this as a 'profound invasion of privacy'.
It reads: "Emilie and her family desperately want to grieve in private, but sadly, the public will not let them. Trigg’s death has become a media frenzy."
The lawsuit also claimed that 100 public record requests have been filed with the City of Chandler and the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office for access to public records related to Trigg's death.

Elsewhere, it pointed out that ‘Disclosure of graphic or intimate death-related records’ can cause ‘renewed trauma to surviving family members and violates their right to grieve privately’.
Maricopa County's Office of the Medical Examiner reportedly responded by claiming it 'worked with the family to place a seal on the record' after learning 'the family was pursuing a court order to prevent the release of these records', according to NBC.
Three-year-old Trigg was Emilie’s first-born son with her husband, Brady Chapman, and his tragic death comes less than two months after the couple gave birth to their second child, a baby boy called Teddy (Theodore).

Both youngsters feature heavily on the family social media accounts, which have accumulated a huge 3.3 million followers since Kiser began uploading family-orientated lifestyle material online.
Elsewhere, the statement issued by the influencer’s lawyer reads: “Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son, two-month-old Theodore. But every day is a battle."

Chandler Police previously issued a statement on Trigg's passing after it was recorded by the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office earlier this month.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child's family and loved ones during this unimaginable time.
"The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remains ongoing. This is still an open investigation.
"Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed."
