The last words of a hero father who saved his fiancé and children before dying in the devastating Texas flash floods have been revealed.
Heavy rain began to fall in the predawn hours of July 4, causing the Guadalupe River to burst its banks and devastate the surrounding areas.
At least 82 people are confirmed to have died in central Texas, including 27 people from a local all-girls Christian summer camp - Camp Mystic.
One of those from the local area who tragically lost their lives was father-of-three Julian Ryan, 27, after flood waters burst into his family’s home in Ingram.

Heartbreakingly sharing his last words, Julian’s fiancée Christina Wilson recalled: "He looked at me, the kids, and his mother and said, 'I'm sorry, I'm not going to make it. I love y'all'."
Speaking to KHOU, Christina went on to reveal how Julian saved her and their three children.

She explained that they awoke to water surging into their home so quickly that it was up to their knees within 20 minutes.

Christina recalled: '[Water] just started pouring in, we had to fight the door to get it closed, tried to hold the door closed, just so that too much didn't come in.
“We ran back into the room and we started calling 911 but it just kept coming. We had no choice but to get out.”
Julian then heroically punched through a window to help his family escape to the room, however, the glass tore through his arm and left him severely injured.
Tragically, emergency responders were unable to reach them in time and Julian died from his wounds hours later.
