A Scottish teenager has died while on holiday in Spain after what his family believe may have been a reaction to vape oil.
Harry Whitton, 18, from Dundee, was in Benidorm with his girlfriend when he became seriously ill.
In a post shared online, Harry's father, Colin Whitton, said the family had received preliminary post-mortem findings and wanted to raise awareness about the potential risks associated with vaping.
Mr Whitton wrote: "We received the preliminary post-mortem results for Harry today and would like to share some info in the hope to quash any rumours and to warn everyone about the dangers of vaping.

According to Mr Whitton, the family suspect Harry suffered a reaction to something he used during the trip.
"We think it was his vape; he had recently bought a vape oil in Benidorm, and it is the only difference between what he has been using and what [his girlfriend] was using."
He said Harry's throat constricted after he and his girlfriend had gone out for lunch, where both had cocktails with their meal, leading to severe breathing difficulties.
Mr Whitton added: "There are still far too many unknowns about these vape oils and no long-term studies have been done on their effects."
The family have since launched a fundraising campaign to bring Harry home to Scotland and help cover funeral costs.

Harry was remembered by Dundee FC, where he worked in the hospitality lounges at Dens Park.
The club described him as a 'familiar and friendly face', adding that he was 'highly valued by colleagues and warmly regarded by supporters'.
In a statement, Dundee FC said: "We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Harry Whitton while on holiday in Spain.
"Our thoughts are with Harry’s family, friends and everyone who knew him at this incredibly difficult time."
A Foreign Office spokesperson said: "We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Benidorm and are in contact with the local authorities."
