Prince Andrew 'code name' revealed in Virginia Giuffre's posthumous memoir as she recalls 'orgy'

Warning: This article contains discussion of suicide and sexual abuse which some readers may find distressing.

In a harrowing memoir posthumously released this week, Virginia Giuffre provided further detail on the sexual abuse she allegedly endured at the hands of Prince Andrew during her teenage years, claiming the royal went by a 'code name'.

Giuffre's accusations first came to light in 2019, when she publicly accused Andrew, 65, of having had sex with her on three separate occasions when she was just a minor, having allegedly first been introduced by convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Months before making her allegations, Epstein was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges, committing suicide in prison before ever facing trial. He'd also been arrested in 2008 for the sexual abuse of a Florida minor.

In 2022, Giuffre and Prince Andrew - who has consistently denied all the abuse claims against him - reached an out-of-court settlement after she pursued a civil suit against him in 2021, during which she was handed an undisclosed amount.

However, the scandal saw the father-of-two hand his military titles, royal patronages and 'His Royal Highness' title back to his mother, Queen Elizabeth.

And just last week, before the posthumous release of Giuffre's memoir Nobody's Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, which promised new alleged revelations about his relationship with Epstein, Prince Andrew surrendered his final few royal honours, including his 'Duke of York' title.

Though the mother-of-three tragically took her own life in April of this year, her memoir was released earlier today (21 Oct), one page of which hears Giuffre look back on her third alleged encounter with the royal.

She begins by claiming that, whilst she 'doesn't know exactly when' she was allegedly made to have sex with Andrew for the third time, she 'does know the location', revealing this 'Little Saint Jeff's'.

This describes former financier Epstein's small private piece of land in the United States Virgin Islands.

"I also know that it was not just the two of us this time, it was an orgy," she added, claiming that in an alleged declaration sworn in 2015, she'd remembered 'Epstein, Andy, and approximately eight other young girls, and I had sex together'.

In said declaration, Giuffre claimed she'd also described the women as 'under the age of eighteen', and having a minimal ability to 'speak English'.

It is then that the alleged victim attempts to back up her accusations, claiming that a code word was previously used to describe Andrew by a pilot who flew the women to and from the island.

"Since I gave that account, the pilot has said in a deposition that a coded notation ("AP") that he made on his flight log for 4 Jul, 2001, referred to Prince Andrew," Giuffre said. "He said that Epsrein, the prince, another woman, and I flew from Saint Thomas that day back to Palm Beach.

"I guess it's possible that the orgy I remembered occurred in the days leading up to that flight, which would mean I was still seventeen. I'll probably never know the date for certain.

"What I do know, because Epstein told me, is that Brunel, the French modelling agent who was in attendance, supplied the other girls who took part."

Tyla has contacted Prince Andrew's representatives for comment.
