A body language expert has claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared a ‘real insight’ into their relationship through their interactions with each other during a recent appearance.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Colombia yesterday (August 15) for a four-day trip.

They are currently in the country's capital Bogotá for a visit with Vice President Francia Márquez and her husband Rafael Yerney Pinillo.

And a body language expert has since revealed that a lot can supposedly be taken from how Harry and Meghan interacted with each other.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slingo, body language expert Darren Stanton noted that the couple looked very loved-up - even suggesting that Meghan looked 'in awe' of her husband.

Talking about how they were caught 'off guard' whilst being photographed, Darren said: "From these pictures of Harry and Meghan in Colombia, we’re reminded of how close they are romantically as a couple.

"It has captured their connection off guard - giving us a look into the reality of their relationship.

"They seem to be having lots of fun together and letting their barriers down.

"This is shown through them looking into each other’s eyes as if there was nobody else around them."

He also described how Meghan's eye contact with her husband shows just how 'committed' she is to their relationship.

He added: "Meghan’s genuine smiles and prolonged eye contact with Harry demonstrates how committed she is to him.

"It’s a picture of Meghan being in complete awe. She’s giving him the look of love for her partner.

"This moment between them shows they both feel genuine happiness and safety together.”

The Sussexes were also welcomed by Márquez to her private residence as she hopes the visit will help '‘illuminate Colombia’s role as a beacon of culture and innovation', but also provide a spotlight on to Harry and Meghan's personal priorities.

These priorities include issues such as the effects of the digital world on young people, celebrating the military community, and female empowerment, as per Sky News.

And Darren claimed that it seemed as though Harry wanted to 'make their presence known'.

He continued to say: "Harry came across as tall and strong, whilst also maintaining a steady calmness.

"This shows Harry wanted to make their presence known and present themselves with a high sense of purpose."

He also suggested that it was a 'bold' choice of Meghan's to wear navy - a colour he noted we don't see her in very often.

The expert said: "We normally see Meghan wearing white or pastel colours, so this colour choice suggests Meghan wanted to assert dominance and control. "She’s aiming to make a bold statement. She displayed frequent, genuine smiles, which shows she is happy to be there and be by Harry’s side."

Meanwhile, a lip reader also revealed what they believe to be The Duchess's 'one word demand' to her husband during the trip.

Tyla has contacted The Sussexes' reps for comment.
