A body language expert has revealed the link between Meghan Markle's new Instagram post and her 'professional separation' with Prince Harry.

To kick off the New Year, the Duchess of Sussex launched her very own Instagram account which has since racked up well over 800k followers.

Meghan shared her first-ever post on the public social media account yesterday (1 January) under the handle @meghan.

The post in question was a short video which saw the mum-of-two running across a beach on what appears to be a rather windy-looking day.

The harsh weather didn't wipe the smile of her face, however, with Meghan then seen penning the numbers '2025' into the sand, seemingly welcoming in the New Year.

Some internet trolls were miffed at the fact she turned her comments off and others were confused at her Instagram name reading 'Duchess of Sussex' as opposed to 'The Duchess of Sussex'.

Now, there's been a lot of chat following Meghan's first IG post on her new account about an alleged 'hidden message' about Harry - especially after their 'professional separation'.

"Harry and Meghan have consistently pursued solo ventures in connection with their individual interests," an anonymous source told Hello! a few months back. "But remain deeply committed to their joint efforts through Archewell [their joint charity, formed in 2020].

"Together they have exciting projects in the pipeline, all driving forward their shared mission for positive global impact."

And now, a body language expert has shared his verdict on how Meghan's latest Instagram post links to her 'professional separation' with Harry.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slots, Darren Stanton told Tyla: "Apart from the obvious, the detail of writing the new year in the sand, the fact she’s wearing loose fitting white clothing on the beach is significant, coupled with her being by the ocean, this image is her saying non verbally, this marks a fresh start for me."

Getting into her outfit choice, the expert explained: "White is a colour of inner strength and peace. Not so much being a fresh start without Harry but she’s marking new beginnings, and wants to signal she will be more publicly independent.

"It feels she is putting the message of being more solo this year at the forefront. She’s likely trying to suggest she will be attending fewer events with Harry and doing more engagements on her own, with lots of new exciting projects."

And as for the seaside location?

Well, Darren states that filming at the sign of the ocean is 'symbolic to new adventures yet to have'.

"She’s trying to portray this idea that she’s going from strength to strength and will continue to do so throughout 2025," he declared. "She is marking that new solo projects are soon to come, otherwise Harry would have been there too running around in the sand alongside her."

The body language expert also noted that Meghan looks 'super happy, super relaxed, almost dance like in her moves' which apparently signals 'freedom and individuality' as well as 'solitude in a positive sense'.

"She’s reminding people she is an independent person and confident within herself. It is clearly significant that she hasn’t included Harry in that segment as well," Darren concluded.
