King Charles has shared a rare update on the current state of his health amid his cancer diagnosis.
In February of last year, Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles III had been diagnosed with an undisclosed cancer just weeks after he underwent a procedure for an enlarged prostate.
Despite undergoing cancer treatment, the 76-year-old is maintaining a full work schedule, with his latest appearance taking place earlier this week on Tuesday (22 July) when he visited the Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket, the heart of the horse racing industry, after touring the nearby National Stud.
During Charles and Queen Camilla's Newmarket visit, the ruling monarch issued a rare health update while walking about Suffolk town’s centre.

Recalling a conversation he shared with Charles, the likes of attendee Lee Harman said: "I asked him how he was, and he said he was feeling a lot better now and that it was 'just one of those things'."
After telling the King about his own cancer issues, Harman said: "He asked me how I was and I said 'I’m all good', I got the all clear from cancer last year."
In a statement released just a few days after his cancer diagnosis was announced, Charles thanked well-wishers for their messages.

"I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days," he said.
"As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement."

The statement continued: "It is equally heartening to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organisations which support cancer patients and their families across the UK and wider world.

"My lifelong admiration for their tireless care and dedication is all the greater as a result of my own personal experience."
In March of this year, Charles had to cancel his royal engagements after he experienced 'temporary side effects' following cancer treatment, which required a 'short period of observation in hospital'.
A statement from Buckingham Palace said at the time: "His Majesty would like to send his apologies to all those who may be inconvenienced or disappointed as a result."
Since then, Charles continued treatment but remained active, including an official trip to Canada while resuming most public duties with Tuesday's Newmarket visit being the most recent.
