The Princess of Wales’ heartwarming response to an emotional moment at Wimbledon over the weekend has allegedly been revealed by a lip reader.
Royal Family fans will know that Kate Middleton is a huge fan of tennis and is as synonymous with the annual tournament as strawberries and cream and Pimms.
She made appearances at both the men’s and women’s singles finals over the weekend, joined on Sunday (13 July) by hubby Prince William and their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The family looked extremely regal in Wimbledon's Royal Box as they watched Jannik Sinner triumph over Carlos Alcaraz, and the little ones even got to take home signed tennis balls from the champ.

But one day before this, Kate made her first appearance at the UK-based sports competition solo to watch the women’s singles final, where Iga Swiatek claimed victory over Amanda Anisimova.
And the princess certainly got a warm welcome to the event as she took her seat next to tennis legend Billie Jean King.
Kate, who is in remission following her cancer treatment, was met with an emotional standing ovation from the 15,000-strong Centre Court crowd.

The last time she was at the tournament in 2024, she was undergoing treatment for the disease, and was met with a similarly loud wave of applause.
It was only her second public appearance after announcing her diagnosis in March of last year.
In September 2024, Kate shared the joyful news that she had completed her chemotherapy treatment and was on the road to recovery, before confirming that she’s in remission in January of this year.
And now, as she got a huge welcome from the crowd at the weekend following the happy news, a lip reader has claimed to reveal her reaction.
Jeremy Freeman told WalesOnline that Kate started by simply saying: "Thanks. Hi,” as she smiled at the crowd.

Then, she supposedly turned to an off-camera acquaintance and gushed: “Sweet, very nice to hear!"
Two weeks ago, Kate shared her first cancer update in a while as she visited Colchester Hospital’s wellbeing garden.
She bravely spoke about the emotional and physical 'post‑treatment phase', and candidly shared that the process has been 'really, really difficult'.
Kate said: "You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment. Treatment's done, then it's like, 'I can crack on, get back to normal,' but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.

"You're not necessarily under the clinical team any longer, but you're not able to function normally at home as you perhaps once used to.”
She added: “And actually, someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that sort of phase that comes after treatment, I think is really valuable.
"You have to find your new normal and that takes time... and it's a rollercoaster, it's not smooth, like you expect it to be. But the reality is you go through hard times."
