Back in 2021, the Princess of Wales was credited for 'thinking on her feet' when a reporter asked her an unexpected question about her niece Princess Lilibet, who'd been born days prior to the interview.
For those in need of a reminder, the royal youngster was welcomed into the world on 4 June, 2021 to parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, in Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, California.
Born Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, a year prior to her birth, the child's parents fled from Harry's home-country in the UK - where his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II sat on the throne - to the States, where Meghan was from.

The transatlantic move was prompted by alleged maltreatment that the couple - specifically former Suits actress Meghan - had been subjected to at the hands of both the British royal family, and by the tabloid press.

In their numerous allegations, the pair claimed Harry's brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Kate Middleton, has spearheaded a huge proportion of bullying.
Not only did the accuse William of having knocked Harry down during a heated confrontation against Meghan, but they claimed Kate had reduced the US star to tears during a spat surrounding bridesmaids dresses.

When Princess Lilibet was born slap-bang in the middle of the formerly 'Fab Four's' tumultuous row, therefore, many royal onlookers wondered how the Wales' might feel about the child being born in the States, and under such tense circumstances.
And during one interview with Kate months later, one reporter asked that very question.
In a viral clip, said journalist asked at the time, 'Do you have any wishes for your new niece Lilibet?', to which the 43-year-old immediately smiled, laughing off the unexpected question.
"Oh, I wish her all the very best," the mother-of-three replied. "I can't wait to meet her because we haven't yet - met her yet.
"So, hopefully, that'll be soon."

Another reporter then chimed in, asking Kate: "Have you FaceTimed with her?"
"No, I haven't," the Princess shot back. "No."
Despite the allegations that had previously been made against she and William, 40, Kate was praised at the time for her response to the blindsiding question.
After the four-year-old clip was reshared this week following Lilibet's fourth birthday, one fan credited her: "She wasn't ready to answer that question but she handled perfectly."

Another wrote: "I felt sorry for Catherine that they even asked her that. Perfectly handled by Catherine though."
"Why do they put her in an awkward situation?" questioned a third. "They know what’s going on. And Catherine was great in answering."
