Jason Kelce has hilariously opened up on the time he got to meet the British royal family at a Taylor Swift concert - including exactly what was going through his head at the time.
The revelation came during Taylor's appearance on Travis and Jason’s New Heights podcast today (14 August), where she announced her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl.
It all went down when the 37-year-old former professional football centre went to watch his brother Travis' very famous girlfriend perform an Eras Tour show at London's Wembley Stadium last year.
And there were some very special guests in attendance - Prince William, and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Taylor and Travis met with the royals backstage after the gig and took an iconic group selfie together that took the internet by storm.
And it seems they had the time of their lives as the Prince of Wales was also spotted busting some serious moves while singing along to 'Shake It Off'.

What fans didn't know, however, is that Travis' brother Jason also got to meet with the famous family - and like most people would, panicked when the opportunity came around.

Talking about the show on the new podcast episode, Taylor recalled: "It was so good, it was London, it was Wembley Stadium. Those were such special shows."
She then reminisced with a laugh: "Wasn’t this the week I got to watch Jason meet the royal family?”
However, it turns out there was one thing that Jason was conflicted by - where to put his beer.
Travis chimed in with: “He was like, ‘What do I do with my beer?’" and Taylor added that because he was considering putting it down, she 'knew he was serious'.

She joked: "I watched him have this moment with his beer where he was like, ‘But I want to take it, but I know that I probably should not take it.'"
Miming Jason holding up his beer can, she continued: “I watched this happen, and it kind of was the most amazing…”

She imitated Jason as she added: "Like if I don't have my beer, what do I do with this hand or am I just being authentic by having the beer? I would normally have the beer. Wouldn't they want me to be myself?"

"I'm watching you say that in your head and it was fantastic."
Jason then affirmed that her prediction of what he was thinking was true, as he admitted: “I like that you picked up on it because that was exactly what was going through my head.”
He then questioned: "Is it disrespectful to have a beer when you meet royalty?"
To which Taylor said it was before laughing: "I don't know I'll always remember that."
What else did we learn from Taylor Swift’s new podcast appearance?

How Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got together
In their first joint interview together, the couple got into the story of how they met and revealed some sweet never-heard-before details.

For those who aren't familiar with the story, the NFL star famously used his podcast to publicly declare he wanted to date Taylor.
It came after he failed to meet her at her Eras tour show at Arrowhead Stadium, his team's home stadium.
Taylor gushed: "It was such a wild, romantic gesture to just be like, ‘I want to date you'. But he “never did any proper logistical planning. [He thought] because he knows the elevator lady, that he could talk to her about just getting down to my dressing room. That’s how it works in 1973!”
She added: “This felt more like I was in an 80s John Hughes movie and he was just standing outside of my window with a boombox being like, ‘I want to date you! Do you want to go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet’ … I was like, if this guy isn’t crazy – which is a big if – this is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.”
Taylor sent her mother and brother to buy back her music
Back in May, Taylor famously bought back the rights to her first six albums, ending a long-running battle over the ownership of her music.
And during the podcast, she revealed exactly how it happened - by sending her mother and brother to meet with the owners, rather than a fancy legal team.
She explained: "[These are] my handwritten diary entries from my whole life; these are the songs I wrote about every phase of my life’ … Rather than send lawyers or management in a big crew, I sent my mom and my brother. They told them what this meant for me, they told them the whole story of all the times we’ve tried to buy it, all the times it’s fallen through.”
When she found out the move was successful, she 'very dramatically hit the floor' and 'bawled her eyes out'.
How Taylor and Travis handle all the attention on their relationship
When asked by Jason Kelce how the pair deal with such intense scrutiny and rumours, Taylor confessed: “I don’t see a lot of things.
“I’ve been in the music industry for 20 years. It’s pretty hard to hurt my feelings at this point.”
Meanwhile, Travis added: “There’s still some wacko theories from the beginning that I was like, ‘Oh no, how is she handling this'.
“The last thing I wanted to do was screw this up.”
Travis shares his thoughts on Taylor's new album
After Taylor used her podcast appearance as a way to announce her upcoming album, Travis gave his take on her new music.
"It’s so much fun … I know there are only 12 bangers. It is a lot more upbeat and a lot more fun pop excitement. I think it’s a complete 180 from a lot of the songs on Tortured Poets, for sure," he reviewed.
