A couple may have had the shortest marriage in world history when they divorced three minutes after tying the knot.
After the legal proceedings had concluded the bride tripped as she made her way out of the courthouse in Kuwait only to be ridiculed by her new husband as he called her "stupid".
According to Q8 News, the tearful bride was outraged at being called names by her husband and demanded her marriage be annulled immediately.
The couple had reportedly only legally been married for three minutes, making it the shortest in Kuwait's, and possibly, world history.
The briefly-married, newly single divorcée was praised on social media for making the swift decision to ditch her critical new spouse.
One Twitter user commented: "This woman is a queen."
Another tweeted: "If this is how he acts right at the beginning, it's better to leave him."
A third agreed: "A marriage with no respect, is a failed one right from the beginning."
In Britain, a couple didn't last much longer and got divorced after 90 minutes of marriage in 2004.
Groom, Scott McKie, and bride, Victoria Anderson, exchanged vows at Stockport Register Office in Greater Manchester, but a mere hour-and-a-half later the dream was over.
For undisclosed reasons the wife was angry when she heard her new spouse's toast to her bridesmaids.

As a result, she hit him over the head with an ashtray at the reception and, when police were called, he head-butted one officer and punched another in the face.
