Conspiracy theories are always swirling, but one US congressman insists there is a major government cover-up going on.
Representative Tim Burchett insists that the US government is hiding information about UFOs and alien technology.
He said that what he has been told would stop you from sleeping if you only new.
According to Metro, the congressman told Newsmax that it's about time the powers that be 'disclose it all'.

Burchett said: "I’ve been briefed by just about every alphabet agency there is, and I’ll just tell you this, if they would release the things that I’ve seen, you would stay up at — you’d be up at night worrying about or — thinking about this stuff."
He continued, saying he was privy to some Earth-shattering stuff: "I will just tell you this, I was briefed two weeks ago on an issue, and it would’ve set the earth on — this country would’ve come unglued, I think, if they had heard all that I’d heard."
His comments come months after Donald Trump appeared to promise to release all government files relating to alien life, and Burchett is chasing this up, calling for more transparency from the government.
According to The Hill, Burchett also appeared on Fox News, speaking on The Big Weekend Show, where he pressured Trump to 'peel back the layers of that onion, let America decide if we can handle it. I think we can handle it.'
He added: "It’s not about little green men, it’s not about dadgum flying saucers. It’s about what are we spending tens of millions of your dollars on when some alphabet agency tells me they don’t exist and then again, another department within that department tells me they do exist."
Burchett previously backed up a whistleblower, who went public with claims and allegations that there is a major cover-up involving proof of an alien spaceship.
David Charles Grusch is a former Department of Defence analyst.
He shared his claims with The Debrief in July 2023, alleging that 'intact and partially intact' UFO ships have been hidden and withheld from congress.
Grusch went on to file a complaint, claiming 'he suffered illegal retaliation for his confidential disclosures.'
Burchett believed him, and insisted: "I think he’s telling the truth. I think there’s a lot that’s going to be out there."
He added: "There are enough witnesses, enough qualified pilots, astronauts, literally heroes of ours, who have come forward about things, and so I think it’s pretty evident that the government is covering up.
"And the reason we don’t have any of that information now is a lot of it is so compartmentalised that the people that could connect the dots are long gone."
