Medical adviser reveals 'truth' behind Donald Trump conspiracy theory about assassination attempt after ‘major clue’ spotted

Dr Suzanne Wylie, a GP and medical adviser, has given her take on the latest Trump conspiracy

A medical advisor has claimed to confirm the truth behind the latest Donald Trump conspiracy theory surrounding his assassination attempt.

Now, as we all know, the bizarre theories about the American President, 79, are pretty much never-ending, with a new one popping up almost every week.

From believing he used a body double at the NATO summit because he looked slightly shorter, to being convinced that there’s also a ‘fake’ version of his wife Melania, there is nothing the conspiracists won't investigate.

And the latest theory to do the rounds may just be the wildest one of all, so buckle up, buddy.

Internet sleuths have come up with the claim that the Republican leader’s assassination attempt last year was planned out and completely ‘faked’.

Some social media users are circulating the claim after comparing pictures of Trump’s ear before and after a bullet clipped it - claiming that it looks too ‘healed’ to have really been injured.

They believe pictures show there is 'no damage' to the cartilage of his ear.

Meanwhile, others are citing the world leader’s controversial response to being shot at as their evidence.

After narrowly surviving, Trump shocked the world by choosing not to duck and take cover in what could have been a life-threatening situation.

Instead, he faced towards the direction of where the shot came from and raised his right fist in the air in triumph.

For those who need a reminder, Trump’s assassination attempt took place on 13 July, 2024 during a rally in Pennsylvania.

The terrifying scenes saw a gunman climb the roof of a nearby building and open fire, killing one supporter who was seated behind Trump, and critically injuring two others.

The shooter was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who shot at Trump with an AR-15-style rifle, clipping his ear with a bullet.

And now, a medical adviser has given her take on the ear conspiracy, and attempted to shut it down.

Dr Suzanne Wylie, a GP and medical adviser for IQdoctor, explained that while ear cartilage has ‘very limited capacity to regenerate,’ small injuries will have no issue with healing well.

The expert said: “It does not grow back in the same way that skin or soft tissue does. However, small injuries to the ear can heal very well with appropriate medical treatment.

“If the outer ear suffers a superficial wound, the surrounding skin and soft tissue can repair over time, and with good care, the area may return to a near-normal appearance.”

Dr Wylie continued: “ In some cases, if there is a more significant defect, reconstructive techniques can be used to restore the ear’s shape, but this does not involve actual cartilage regrowth.

“Therefore, if someone appears to have a fully intact ear following an injury, this does not mean the injury was faked, it is simply a reflection of how well the body can heal, especially when supported by skilled medical intervention.”

So, in simpler terms, just because Trump’s ear looks fine, this doesn’t mean it was never injured in the first place.

It just means it’s healed well, and let’s face it, the president probably has access to the best, most high-tech medical access you could want, so it’s no surprise the healing process has gone smoothly.

So, for now, it looks like the theorists will have to dig up a new conspiracy to sink their teeth into.
