The ever-growing Trump family has welcomed one new member after Donald Trump's daughter Tiffany welcomed her first child this week.

The political socialite, 31, shares her joy with husband Lebanese-American business executive Michael Boulos, whom she met on a vacation to Greece.

Four years after their summer romance, the pair tied the knot at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. News of Tiffany's first pregnancy was announced back in October by her 78-year-old father.

Appearing at the Detroit Economic Club, President Trump delivered a speech, during which he noticed his daughter's father-in-law, Dr Massad Boulos, sitting in the crowd.

"He happens to be the father of Tiffany's husband, Michael, who's a very exceptional young guy," Trump declared at the time.

"And she's an exceptional young woman. And she's going to have a baby. So that's nice."

Former model Tiffany broke the sweet news on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday (15 May) that she and 27-year-old Boulos had welcomed their child, sharing a photo of her newborn's tiny feet and confirming that she'd given birth to a baby boy.

The tot is actually the 11th grandchild of Trump, who shares Tiffany with ex-wife Marla Maples.

"Welcome to the world our sweet baby boy, Alexander Trump Boulos," the first-time mum captioned the photo, revealing her son's chosen name.

"We love you beyond words! Thank you for coming into our lives! 5.15.2025."

The child is the first member of the Trump family to carry the name Alexander - despite the name 'Donald' travelling back several generations, as well as being carried by the President and his eldest son, Donald Jr.

According to the Times of India, Tiffany's chosen name carries a 'rich blend' of multicultural heritage, having ties to Arabia, England and most famously, Greece.

In terms of the name's Greek origin, Alexander means the 'defender of men', having been derived from the name 'Alexandros'.

Arguably the most famous of all the Greek leaders, the moniker was held by Alexander the Great, the 400 B.C. king of Macedonia, famed in classical civilisation for having created one of the largest and most powerful empires of the ancient world.

Could it be that the newborn's name is linked to another political front-runner, or simply a reference to Greece where Tiffany and Boulos first met?

As pointed out by The Bump, the name also happened to be carried by some of the world's most recognised influencers, including politician Alexander Hamilton, inventor and scientist Alexander Graham Bell, and a number of Popes.

It has also resulted in a number of European spin-offs, like 'Alejandro' in Spain, and 'Alessandro' in Italy.

After Tiffany also shared her happy news on Instagram, her mother Marla gushed in the comments: "No greater joy in the world.

"Michael and Tiffany this Gran Mar Mar loves you all so much!! You rocked it, my girl!"

The White House's Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, added: "Congratulations, Tiffany!!!"

Fellow political socialite Bettina Anderson also wrote: "He’s here!!!! I cannot wait to meet him. Sending lots of love to you @michaelboulos and Alexander! Congratulations beautiful mama!"
