Public pleas issued this week by victims of sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein were drowned out by Donald Trump's jets, amid calls for the President to release official documentation on the case.
Led by Lisa Phillips, the group appeared on the steps of the US Capitol on Thursday (4 Sept), where they threatened to compile a list of high-profile acquaintances of the late paedophile, who they say abused them as minors.
"We will confidentially compile the names we all know were regularly in the Epstein world," Phillips said.
"It will be done by survivors, and for survivors."

For those in need of a reminder, Epstein was jailed in 2019 for trafficking and abusing underage girls for sex - crimes that were supposedly commit with the help and knowledge of a number of A-listers.
These individuals have long been rumoured to have their names recorded in a document known as 'Epstein's list', which is reportedly being held by the FBI.
Amongst the stars rumoured to have been involved with the sex ring is Donald Trump, who ran in the same circles with Epstein from the 1990s.

Prior to being tried for his crimes, however, the former financier took his own life.
Though the President has ceaselessly denied any involvement in Epstein's abuse, questions have been raised as Trump continues in his attempts to quash public interest in the case - such was also alleged to have occurred in DC this week.
Minutes into their 11:30am appeal, however, a fleet of fighter jets flew noisily overhead whilst a number of the statements were being issued by Epstein's victims.

Trump reportedly ordered the military planes to commence with their flight to commemorate the arrival of newly-elected Polish president Karol Nawrocki to the White House, and 'celebrate the special relationship between our two countries', as per an X post.
The event was also purposed to commemorate the life of a fallen Polish army pilot, who was killed recently during a training exercise.
Unsurprisingly, however, the coincidental timing of the two event has sparked mass outrage amongst followers of Epstein's case, who have taken to social media to publicly question Trump's humanity.
One of the appeal's attendees, Amber Woods hit out online: "It’s difficult to overstate how disrespectful this flyover was, given this press conference was known about by the admin."

She added: "My heart broke standing next to these brave women, some who were already in tears, or shaking. No security provided to them for this conference. I wanted to wrap my arms around them all."
Also infuriated by the timing was Rep. Daniel Goldman, who shared a clip of the flyover.
"Trump spends oodles of $$ for an absurd military flyover to silence victims of Epstein’s and Maxwell’s awful crimes as he protects the perpetrators of those crimes," he wrote.

"Trump disrespects these women and girls," another X (formerly Twitter) user slammed. "That we tolerate this bully madman, who picks fights indiscriminately across the globe; who'd rather start wars than suffer humiliation.
"There is no shame here. There is no honour. In months, he's made America shameless and dishonourable."
Another agreed, writing: "Literally trying to silence victims."
"Donald Trump had the jets fly over 3 times in a row to try and drown out a victim," alleged a third.
