Jasmine Crockett - a representative for Texas in US Congress - definitely did not mince her words when asked how she feels about Elon Musk earlier this week.

In fact, the politician's savage two-word remark has since hit headlines across the globe.

The 43-year-old Democrat was swarmed by a group of reporters during a recent visit to the US Capitol.

A handful of left-wing politicians took to the White House in protest of Republican support of Donald Trump's 'Make America Great Again' agenda by pushing forward budget framework.

Outside of the building, one journalist then approached Crockett to ask: "If you could speak directly to Elon Musk what would you say?"

She then fired back a fiery response.

"F**k off," the congresswoman told the reporter.

The now-viral video later heard a handful of bystanders breaking into laughter, with several agreeing with Crockett.

Such is also the case with many social media users.

"I would f****g vote for her every damn time if I lived in her state lol," one recently wrote after the clip was shared on Reddit.

"She’ll be our first woman POTUS MMW [mark my words]" another predicted.

A third added: "I feel like we moved on far too quickly from the sheer beauty of that moment. It was one of the greatest things I've ever seen."

"That's my representative!!!!" added another.

"Everyday I am so happy we voted with sense and made sure she stayed."

This isn't the first time Crockett has made her opposing views against Musk public.

After the tech boss was made one of Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) co-leads, many Democratic politicians feared what powers the role could give him.

Following his appointment, the 53-year-old described cuts to government funding as 'common sense' measures in a White House speech.

Trump handed Musk's team the authority to access the system responsible for all government payments, and access sensitive databases and private medical records, and the Tesla boss the power to circumvent conflict of interest/transparency requirements.

Discussing this on The View, Crockett touched specifically on the proposal for taxpayers to be sent $5,000 for savings discovered by the federal cost-cutting group.

"We are not in the business of giving out money, and honestly, I don't know what $5,000 will do for you if you are unable to find a job because I am telling people, we are headed towards a recession," Crockett hit out, as per the Daily Mail.
