It's safe to say Elon Musk’s son X Æ A-12 made a lasting impression after joining his dad at a White House press conference with President Donald Trump.

The meeting was held by Musk, 53, and Trump, 78, so they could answer a series of questions from reporters to witness the latter sign an executive order requiring federal agencies to cooperate with the Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) efforts to cut costs.

But the four-year-old, known as X for short, certainty made his mark during the important meeting at the Oval Office as he pulled faces, climbed all over his dad and even appeared to wipe his bogies on the Resolute desk.

It soon became a viral moment. One person chimed in: "Elon's kid is feasting on his boogers in front of Trump."

While another viewer posted: "I'm watching Elon Musk's son pick his nose, eat boogers and wipe them on the Resolute desk. There's no way this kid is not annoying Trump."

What did Elon Musk's son say to Donald Trump?

The internet has been trying to work out everything little X said to Trump during the meeting, with some people speculating he told the president, “I want you to shut your mouth up.”

Meanwhile, other viewers heard the little boy say: “You are not the president, you need to go away.”

X, who is just one of the three children Musk shares with ex-girlfriend Grimes, appeared to shush someone off-camera before instructing them to 'shut your mouth'. He also stuck his fingers in his father's ears - an act which made reporters laugh.

"I thought my son might enjoy this, but it's, he's sticking his fingers in my ears and stuff," Musk pointed out, before saying to the toddler: "So it's been hard to hear sometimes.

"Hey! Stop that."

Grimes unhappy about son being in the Oval Office

She took to Musk’s platform X to issue a statement on the matter.

Writing in response to another user, she said: "He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."

Musk and Grimes dated for four years before eventually deciding to part ways for good two years after X's birth in 2022.

They also share two other children together; Techno Mechanicus, two, as well as daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, three.
