Donald Trump has brutal response to protester who tried to disrupt his landmark speech

Donald Trump celebrated his first 100 days in office with a trip to Michigan

US President Donald Trump has given a brutal response to a protester who tried to disrupt one of his speeches.

Earlier this week, Trump was delivering a speech in Michigan to mark his first 100 days as president.

"We're here tonight in the heartland of our nation to celebrate the most successful first 100 days of any administration in the history of our country, and that's according to many, many people," he told supporters.

"This is the best, they say, 100-day start of any president in history, and everyone is saying it.

"Week by week, we're ending illegal immigration. We're taking back our jobs, [we] are protecting our great American autoworkers and all of our workers. Frankly, we're protecting all of our workers. We're restoring the rule of law.

"We've just gotten started. You haven't seen anything yet. It's just kicking off."

During Trump's speech, there seemed to be some disruptive behaviour in the crowd.

The disruption took place when the 78-year-old was praising Republican National Committee leader, Michael Whatley, with Trump noticing the crowd has become unsettled.

"What's the problem over there?" the president said.

"What’s the problem? Is that a radical left lunatic? He's just a child. All right, get him out."

Security quickly removed the protestor, shortly before Trump claimed it was actually a woman who had been forced to leave.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, ma'am, I thought it was a guy," he said. "I'm sorry, I said he and it's a she."

Trump joked that the protestor 'now has to go home to a mother who's a big Trump fan'.

"Her mother's watching," he added.

Trump's current run as president is his second term, but this hasn't stopped him from selling caps for his hypothetical 2028 run, despite it being a direct violation of the Constitution for a president to run for more than two terms.

The Trump organisation has listed red hats on its website which are available to purchase, embroidered with 'Trump 2028' on the back.

The hats are currently listed for $50 (£37), with the description: "The future looks bright! Rewrite the rules with the Trump 2028 high crown hat.

"Fully embroidered with a snap closure in the back, this will become your new go-to hat."

But Democrats have started to respond to Trump's grand plans to run for a third term as president.

Supporters of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the US, have started to share a cap with 'Obama 2028' embroidered on the front.

One user on X said: "Can't wait to see Barack Obama vs. Donald Trump."

Another added: "OBAMA 2028 is trending in response to Trump 2028 Merch."
