The US President is set to make an Oval Office address later today (2 September) at 14:00 ET (19:00 BST).
According to the Mirror, an entry appeared on the White House's schedule, which read: "The President makes an announcement."
However, aside from this message, it is still unclear what the announcement will be about.
The upcoming announcement comes amidst concerns for the 79-year-old's health, after a conspiracy theory gripped the internet over the weekend, alleging that Trump had actually passed away.

The online speculation wasn't sparked by a major event or a public diagnosis - simply that Trump hadn't been seen out and about for a few days.
Not only was his official schedule unusually quiet over the Labor Day weekend - a holiday celebrated on the first Monday of September to recognise the American labour movement - but he actually hadn't been seen in public since a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday (27 August).

As a result, internet searches for 'Trump' and 'is Trump dead' made their way to the top of X's (formerly Twitter's) search engine, with rumours of his passing seemingly spiralling out of control.

Eventually, the father-of-five was spotted out playing golf with friends, however, putting talk of his death to bed. Trump even shared a statement in response to the speculation, insisting he is, in fact, very much alive.
On Sunday night (31 August), he penned on Truth Social: "NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE."
Separately, questions have been raised in recent months regarding the President's well-being, after he was spotted on several occasions sporting a deep purple bruise on his hand.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt previously claimed the apparent injury was caused by the number of hands Trump shakes daily.

The politician himself made a similar claim back in December of last year, acknowledging the bruise during his Time magazine Person of the Year interview and insisting he'd been 'shaking hands with thousands of people'.

Two doctors went on to address Trump's bruising in the weeks that followed, including Trump's physician, Dr Sean Barbabella, who explained: "Recent photos of the President have shown minor bruising on the back of his hand.
"This is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen.

"This is a well-known and benign side effect of aspirin therapy."
Trump's former physician, Ronny Jackson, also added: “As President Trump's former personal physician, former Physician to the President, and White House physician for 14 years across three administrations, I can tell you unequivocally: President Donald J. Trump is the healthiest president this nation has ever seen.
"I continue to consult with his current physician and medical team at the White House and still spend significant time with the President. He is mentally and physically sharper than ever before."
