Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson set wedding date as they opt for unexpected venue
Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson have now set their wedding date, according to inside sources.
Trump Jr., who is the eldest of US President Donald Trump's five children, first started dating American socialite and model Anderson, who is the daughter of philanthropists Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson, in late 2024 shortly after the former broke off his prior engagement to Kimberly Guilfoyle, the US Ambassador to Greece.
The soon-to-be newlyweds will reportedly tie the knot over Memorial Day weekend, scrapping earlier plans for a grand White House celebration amid concerns it would overshadow his father amidst the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
Trump Jr., 48, and Anderson, 39, had originally moved the wedding to the autumn, wary that a lavish ceremony during the Iran war would invite criticism and create unwanted headlines for his father.

With the war showing no sign of ending, the couple decided against delaying things further.
Instead, they’ll host a smaller gathering for close friends and family in the Bahamas over the holiday weekend ahead of Memorial Day (25 May), a source told the Daily Mail.
Tyla has reached out to Donald Trump Jr.'s representatives for comment.
Last month, Anderson shared a series of snaps with her 143k followers on Instagram of her bridal shower, which saw appearances from Trump Jr.'s two younger sisters, Ivana and Tiffany.
The bride-to-be captioned the photo dump: "Still soaking in how beautiful and special Sunday was.
"To be surrounded by so many women I love and admire, and feel so grateful to have in my corner, meant more than I can say. Thank you to my INCREDIBLE hostesses, Audrey, Amy, and Yaz, for creating such a thoughtful, elegant, and love-filled day…I’m still floating!"
Anderson rounded off: "@donaldjtrumpjr I cannot wait to marry you!"
Trump, 79, has five children from three marriages.
Trump Jr., Ivanka and Eric were born during Trump’s marriage to Ivana Trump. They were married from 1977 to 1990. Ivana died aged 73 in 2022.
Tiffany was born during his second marriage to 62-year-old Marla Maples, whom he was married to from 1993 to 1999.
And his youngest child is 20-year-old Barron Trump, who is his only child with US First Lady Melania Trump, 56.
The pair married in 2005 and are still married.
Trump Jr., meanwhile, shares five children, Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer and Chloe, with his ex-wife Vanessa Trump.
The pair married in 2005 and called it quits some 13 years later in 2018.
