Donald Trump just gave Jake Paul his 'complete and total endorsement' for political office - yes, really.
The US President, 79, was joined on-stage by the 29-year-old YouTuber turned boxer during a rally to the Republican leader's supporters in Kentucky on Wednesday (13 March).
And bizarrely, he endorsed Paul for political office and made a prediction about his future, even though he isn't actually running for anything yet.
Unprompted, Trump told the social media star: "I just want to say I predict, I'm going to make a prediction that you will be in the not too distant future, running for political office, okay.

"And you have my complete and total endorsement, OK?"
While Paul said, "What Mr. Trump has taught me is courage. We never back down from a fight, even if they’re much bigger than you, much, much bigger than you.
He added, "I feel all the local Kentuckians feel the same way. You guys have that fight. You guys have that swag. There's a lot of young kids in here. The future of America."

As reported by USA Today, the boxer explained how he grew up just a few hours away from the rally at Verst Logistics in Hebron, Kentucky, and insisted that the US needs more factories thriving like the one Trump was visiting.
He said: "I know [Trump's] going to be the one to bring that here to us."
Before defiantly adding, "My dad taught me to fight, and all of our voices matter in America. I’m never afraid to speak the truth.”
The sportsman also got religious as he told the audience, "I know God is with us. I know he wants us on the right side of history, and everyone here has to do their part.
"And God's got us. Trump's got us. God bless."
While Trump returned the praise, telling the crowd,"'He's a great guy. He's a courageous guy and a talented guy. He's a hell of a fighter, too, by the way."
The President added that Paul's 'podcast is big stuff and he’s big stuff,' and said he has 'guts'.
Baffled by the seemingly random endorsement, one X user penned: "Jake Paul with a presidential endorsement before he has announced what he is running for. Politics in 2026 is genuinely unscripted."
While a second agreed: "First Erika Kirk for the Air Force, now Jake Paul for President???"
And a third and fourth penned: "Politics really is getting wild" and "Seeing President Donald Trump endorsing Jake Paul for any political office was my least expected thing to see on my timeline today".
It comes after the US President quietly appointed Erika Kirk as one of the members on the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors, despite her having no military experience.
People were left confused over the decision to have her take on the role, sitting on the influential board that oversees the US Air Force Academy.
As per its website, the board 'inquires into the morale, discipline, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods, and other matters relating to the Academy'.
However, Olivia Wales, White House spokeswoman, said that Erika is the 'perfect' choice for the board.
