From being 'the most successful person to ever run for the presidency' to implying that he helped Pope Leo become the leader of Catholic church, Donald Trump is known for making some pretty outlandish claims.
Now, he's left people baffled after claiming he 'invented' an extremely common word.
According to fact-checkers at The Washington Post, in his first term of office alone, the US President made a whopping 30,573 false or misleading claims.

And he recently added two more to the list - a list so big it has its own Wikipedia page - in the space of just 24 hours.
First, Trump suggested on Truth Social that he had something to do with Pope Leo XIV's election as the new head of the Catholic Church.
Upon Pope Leo's ascension, he first congratulated him for becoming the first American to be elected Pope, calling it a 'great honour for our country'.

"So funny to watch old timer Martha Raditz [correctly spelt Raddatz] on ABC Fake News (the Slopadopolus show!) this morning, blurt out that, effectively, Pope Leo's selection had nothing to do with Donald Trump," he then wrote on 12 May about Raddatz's recent interview with Cardinal Blasé Cupich on This Week.
"It came out of nowhere, but it was on her Trump Deranged Mind," Trump continued. "Remember, I did WIN the Catholic Vote, by a lot!"
Then, during a White House press conference, Trump seemed to allege that he came up with the word 'equalize' — a word that Webster's dictionary confirms has been around since 1599.
As he signed a new order to regulate drug prices, he said, "The rest of the world is going to have to pay a bit more, and America's going to pay a lot less. Again, because it has a smaller population than when you think of the whole world.
"So basically what we are doing is equalising. It's a new word that I came up with, which I think is probably the best word. We're gonna equalise. We're all gonna pay the same. We're gonna pay what Europe's gonna pay."

People were understandably confused by the bizarre claim, with one taking to social media to write: "There was a TV show in the 80s named The Equalizer.
"Did he invent the word in 1983 and is just reminiscing?"
Another penned: "If he came up with it how does everyone already know what it means lol," while a third sarcastically said: "Oh yeah! i forgot that donald trump was around in the 1580s to come up with 'equalise'."
This claim of inventing a word isn't the first time for Trump, as he has previously claimed to have been responsible for a common three-word phrase, though historians disagree.
