A first look at the migrant detention centre that Donald Trump has set up in the middle of a swamp in the Florida Everglades has been released by visitors on social media.
Due to its location, and dubbed 'Alligator Alcatraz' by the President, the state's attorney general James Uthmeier previously joked of the centre: "You don't need to invest that much in the perimeter. If people get out, there's not much waiting for them other than alligators and pythons."
The facility was founded as part of Trump's mission to halt 'all illegal entry into the country' and deport millions of 'illegal aliens'.

The 79-year-old unveiled plans for the centre earlier this week, confirming that the idea is for escapees to suffer a worse fate at the hands of the animals living in the surrounding areas.
In a remark critics later branded both 'evil' and 'dystopian', Trump told attendees to the White House on Tuesday: "Snakes are fast but alligators... we’re going to teach them how to run away from an alligator.
"Don’t run in a straight line, run *waving hand* like this."

Whilst many desperately hoped that the threat of the migrant prison was all words, images and videos of the centre have since been released online, indicating that the disturbing project is very nearly ready to be put into place.
In one clip, beds can be seen stacked above one another in tiny pens, each separated by harsh metal fences.
Another video shows the facility's entrance, which has reportedly been flooded by 'warm, stagnant water' from the swamp surrounding it, sparking concern surrounding the rapid growth of algae, the spread of harmful bacteria (including E. coli), and the breeding of mosquitoes, which themselves could be carrying dangerous diseases.

Naturally, thousands of Americans and spectators from across the globe have been left horrified over what they've seen.
After one right-wing voter branded the build 'impressive', an opposer clapped back: "Every day I'm so grateful I didn't grow up to become the kind of person who would call a concentration camp 'impressive'."
Another religious user added: "The Holy Bible is very clear on how to welcome strangers and how to treat our neighbors. How exactly is this Pro Life?" as a third hit out: "Send me my tax dollars back, I do not support this s**t."
"How do you treat other human beings like this?" another asked. "Proudly locking up others in cages. No one deserves this and my mind will never be able to comprehend this."

Another heartbroken user noted: "This also lets you know how quick they could provide housing for the homeless if they wanted to."
In agreement, another pointed out: "Mind you. We just had a pandemic where the government 'could not' and would not build hospitals and care centers rapidly to keep up with the overcrowded hospitals and understaffing at our hospitals but they can build a concentration camp in 8 days if they follow regulations."
The latest images and video come just a day after the official White House's Twitter account shared a poster for the new Florida centre, captioned: "ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ: MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN!"

The image shows the father-of-five posing beside a trio of alligators in a swamp-like environment, all of whom don navy ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) caps.
