Pierce Brosnan shares sweet post to announce birth of his fourth grandchild

Pierce Brosnan shared some wonderful news with his fans on Thursday (17 November).
The James Bond icon announced on Instagram that his fourth grandchild had been welcomed into the world and the little one’s name is certainly original!
Sharing a photo of the tot’s face and another of the newborn resting on his mum, Brosnan dedicated a sweet caption to his new family member.

The star wrote: “Jaxxon Elijah Brosnan, born 3:06pm 11/12/22… all good blessings to you my dearest grandson, welcome.”
He added: “Congratulations my darling Sean, Sanja and Marley. Peace be with you.”
Jaxxon’s parents are Brosnan's son Sean Brosnan and his daughter-in-law Sanja Banic. Sean and Sanja are also doting parents to daughter Marley, seven.
As well as Jaxxon and Marley, Brosnan has a 24-year-old granddaughter named Isabella and a 17-year-old grandson Lucas.

In 2013, Isabella and Lucas’s mum and Brosnan’s daughter Charlotte tragically died of ovarian cancer.
Charlotte and Sean’s mum, Cassandra Harris - who was Brosnan’s first wife - also died of the disease in 1991.
Before marrying Brosnan, Harris welcomed her older children Christopher and Charlotte, who Brosnan legally adopted after their mum’s death.
Brosnan went on to marry Keely Shaye Smith in 2001 and the lovebirds share sons Dylan, 25, and Paris, 21.

Over summer, Brosnan and Smith made headlines after the former was forced to clap back at vile comments made about his wife after he posted a photo of them online to mark their 21st wedding anniversary.
Uploading a gorgeous snap taken on their wedding day over two decades prior, Brosnan wrote: "Happy Anniversary my love @keelyshayebrosnan. We danced that night and still dance the dance today. I could do it all again."
In a cruel, now-deleted post, trolls decided to comment on how Smith's body had changed over the years.

Pierce was quick to shut down the gross comments about his wife in the classiest way possible - and managed to hit out at a few cruel friends in the process.
He wrote: "Friends offered her surgery to reduce her weight. But I strongly love every curve of her body. She is the most beautiful woman in my eyes. And also because she had our five children."
Brosnan added: "In the past, I truly loved her for her person, not only for her beauty, and now I’m loving her even more that she is my children’s mother. And I am very proud of her, and I always seek to be worthy of her love." Perfectly put, Pierce.
