Savage video of Olympic athlete whose penis completely ruined chances of winning a medal gets deleted

Footage of Anthony Ammirati at the 2024 Paris Olympics led to headlines all over the globe

Following the now-infamous footage of pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati at the 2024 Paris Olympics that went viral thanks to his manhood costing him a medal, there's a brand new twist in the tale.

It's now almost been a week since the scenes on 3 August that reverberated around the world - as 21-year-old Ammirati seemed poised for victory during his pole vaulting event at the Olympic Games.

He had cleared 5.40 and 5.60 meter bars without breaking a sweat, and the French athlete seemed primed to clear the 5.70 meter with ease.

But then, the dream died.

Long story short, Ammirati's penis made direct contact with the pole and his Olympic dreams weren't the only thing to be crushed.

Ammirati appears to have poked fun at the debacle in a now-deleted video.

He appeared to joke about the eyebrow-raising incident in footage that did the rounds on social media.

Ammirati could be seen eating a slice of pizza in what seemed to be an eatery in the Olympic Village, along with the caption: “POV: you create more buzz for your package than for your performances," that was written in French.

But the video has now been deleted.

Initially, following the incident, Ammirati avoided the elephant in the room.

In an interview with the French Athletics Federation following his loss, he said: “I’m a bit gutted, because I didn’t miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70 m.

“What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings. Just a technical session.

“I was 100 percent physically, but I was missing a bit of pole vault."

He added: "The conditions were good. It’s the first time I’ve started a competition without any stress.

“As I was a total outsider, I only had one goal: to interact with the audience. I was almost there.”

He finally dealt with it head on, as fellow Olympian, Swedish track and field star Armand Duplantis addressed the moment by commenting on Ammirati's Instagram photo.

He commented: "The viral sensation", alongside a fire emoji.

Ammirati responded with crying laughing faces - showing he has finally embraced the funny side of the whole debacle.
