An Only Fans model and Olympian took fans by surprise with her unusual celebration dance following a very successful pole vault.

Team Canada pole vaulter, Alysha Newman, broke the national record yesterday (7 August) after impressively clearing a 4.85 metres in the eagerly-anticipated final.

The Olympian decided to celebrate winning her bronze medal in the Stade de France in an unexpected way - and viewers across the globe have since raced to social media to share their reactions.

After her jump, Alysha could be seen joyfully running off the pitch and breaking out into what many people are calling a twerk before clapping and exiting the area.

While some took some major issues with Alysha's light-hearted means of celebrating, many others rushed to share their praise.

One X user penned: "That was her moment and she seized it."

"Lmaooooo nicely done," chirped a second, while a third chimed in: "She’s having the best time of her life! Let her do cartwheels."

A fourth piped up: "The vibes at the Olympics have been really elite this year."

Another echoed: "Lol that was amazing."

And a final X user gushed: "What an amazing look of joy and accomplishment on her face as she realises her triumph!!! Wonderful, congratulations!"

It's clear not everyone has been able to celebrate such monumental achievements in the 2024 Paris Games as Team USA diver, Alison Gibson, was gutted following her disappointing performance and has since opened up about the 'pain' she experienced after scoring a flat zero for her diver.

It all went south during the preliminary round of the Olympic women's 3m springboard which she subsequently finished last out of the 28 competitors.

In her first dive, the 25-year-old Texas native's feet slammed into the springboard when she was in a tucked position amid a somersault prompting the audience to let out a gasp in shock at the painful blunder.

The collision meant that Alison lost her previous form as she plummeted into the water.

The American then had to watch on in agony as judges awarded her a 0.0 for the dive.

Since then, Alison has discussed the moment and explained how it won't stop her from doing what she loves.

"I hit my heels and my feet on the board. I have cuts along the sides. And then I bruised my right heel pretty good, but I was determined to keep going," the diver told Reuters.

"I definitely was in pain," Alison continued. "But one thing that I say is I hope that anyone who is watching just was able to see what it looks like to get up and keep going even when things don't go the way you want them to.

"It's about the fight."
