New emojis for your phone have been revealed and people have made one prediction

One person claimed the the Instagram user had said their 'thoughts exactly'

Smartphone users have claimed one of the nine incoming new emojis is about to replace a popular meme image - here’s everything you need to know, including when you can expect to use the new digital icons.

The Unicode Consortium, a nonprofit foundation that upholds the Unicode Standard, has added a handful of new emojis to the 2025 list.

Stereo Gum reported that the nine unfortunately won’t be available when iOS 26 officially arrives on Apple devices in September.

This probably means that the likelihood of us using them on our iPhones before early 2026 is slim.

But we’ve waited this long for the nine; what’s a few months more?
