Viral BBC Dad's Kids Interrupt His Interview Yet Again

The Kelly children are our heroes.

This is exactly what we needed today.

Remember professor Robert Kelly? You know, the political analyst who went viral after his young children gatecrashed his BBC interview in spectacular fashion? Yeah? Well he's back, and his children are just as naughty as ever.

During a segment about working from home with our families this week, the BBC thought of no better interviewee than Robert, who made headlines in 2017 when his two children caused mayhem mid-interview.

To jog your memory, the professor - who lives in South Korea - had been invited onto BBC News to talk about the impeachment of Park Geun-hye, aka Very Important Stuff.

It was Robert's big moment. He was to be live on TV giving his views on the political scandal. When - out of nowhere - his four-year-old daughter comes dancing into the room, shortly followed by his nine-month-old son, spinning in on his walker like a baby flying saucer.

Robert's wife Jung-a Kim eventually runs in and drags the kids out once she'd realised the error, but it wasn't soon enough to have the whole interview derailed.

As Robert's heart sank, we nearly lost consciousness from laughter. It was absolutely class.

Anyway, the whole family returned (invited this time) for a catch up on the BBC - and it's safe to say the kids have not lost any of their hilarity.

As Robert and Jung-a spoke about the highs and lows of co-working during lock down, his daughter Marion, now 7, and son James, now 3, proved once again why they are national treasures.

During the interview, Marion continuously pokes her tongue out while launching herself at her dad for hugs. Other epic moments include Marion patting her dad on the head, reaching for the mic to whack it, and shouting, causing her mum to put her hand over her mouth.

Meanwhile, James goes walkabouts before deciding he'd had enough and leaving the room altogether. It's chaos.

As much as Robert tries to feign 'what are they like, eh? Those lovable little rascals!' composure, you can tell he's actually internally combusting, barely able to hide his gritting teeth.

It's literally GOLD. You can watch the full interview here.

Ok can someone give this family a regular BBC slot already? We cannot get enough.

Kelly children, never change.
