This Helpful Trick Will Banish Spiders From Inside Your Home

If you suffer from arachnophobia, then you better listen to these useful tip.

Leaving doors and windows open during summer is something we all do but this is an open invitation for spiders to crawl right in and make themselves at home.

Once you get one spider in the house, it seems like he slowly moves his friends in because the next day you'll see three of them, then you'll see six just chilling downstairs with another six making themselves cosy upstairs.

To help keep the pesky eight-legged creepy crawlies out of your house there's one simple trick you can do which involves peppermint.

All you need to do is add a few drops of peppermint oil to a bottle of water, give it a good mix and pour it into a spray bottle.

Once you've finished hoovering and dusting your home, just go around spritzing your peppermint concoction.

Unlike other repellents this peppermint trick won't harm spiders - they just don't like it so they'll simply crawl off and relocate to your garden.

Give it an extra spray in all those nooks and crannies, which is where the spiders like to go. Also don't forget your bathroom, the bathtub and shower need a good spray in the corners. Your windowsills and doors needs a triple whammy of spray.

Try spraying it once a week at first. If the spiders reappear or don't disappear, before the week is up then try spraying it every few days.

You could also try placing peppermint plants in strategic places inside and outside your home to help repel the little creepy crawlies.

We know what we'll be doing when we get home tonight.

Sorry Mr Spidey you have got to go back outside!
