We’re still seriously gutted that Olivia Attwood was forced to pull out of this year’s I’m A Celeb on health grounds, but it sounds as though her journey Down Under might not actually be over.

Announcing Olivia’s departure after just 24 hours in the jungle, host Ant McPartlin said the Love Island star had ‘left the jungle for medical reasons’.

But on Monday (14 November) night, he and his co-host Declan Donnelly hinted at Olivia’s return.

Taking part in an Instagram livestream, Ant and Dec were asked by a fan: “Can you bring Olivia back next year? We are missing a feisty female."

Watch Ant's response below:

Suggesting we may well see Olivia back in the jungle next year, Ant replied: "That's not a bad idea! I'm going to put that to the powers that be at the end of this show and hopefully I'll have an answer sometime tomorrow."

Soon after Olivia’s departure, a show spokesperson told LADbible: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks.

"Unfortunately, the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation.

"She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show."

Rumours were swirling about exactly what was wrong with Olivia, but in her first interview after leaving the jungle, she confirmed to MailOnline exactly what had happened.

Explaining she was ‘dangerously anaemic’, the reality star shared: “I was so scared, I was like 'what the hell is wrong with me?'

"They couldn't give me an answer, they just told me that they had to get me to the hospital immediately.

"The results were really, really low when they put them into their reader and they consulted with another doctor off site. I had those bloods done in England before I left, and they were fine. I was confused and of course very, very worried."

The 31-year-old old was taken by ITV staff to a hospital 40 minutes away.

Olivia added of the experience: "It felt like the longest journey ever. I didn't know what to think. I was wondering if I had picked up a virus, was I pregnant, all of these things were going through my head. It was absolutely frightening."

She continued: "I tried to keep a hold of my emotions but it started to feel like I wasn't going back, you know when you just get a feeling? It started to dawn on me that I was out for good.”
