Warning: This article contains discussion of child abuse and sexual assault which some readers may find distressing.

Among a batch of 'never-before-seen' images of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's private island being released last night, was a snap of a disturbing blackboard message, which appeared to have been scratched in.

The new media was made public on Wednesday (3 December) by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, following a landslide vote.

"See for yourself," the left-wing group wrote in the caption, whilst sharing the pics and vids online. "We won’t stop fighting until we end this cover-up and deliver justice for the survivors."

Robert Garcia, a ranking member of the group also added (via Sky News): "We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein's horrific crimes.

"We won't stop fighting until we deliver justice for the survivors."

The newly-released images - sent from the US Virgin Islands Department of Justice - exhibit several rooms from former media mogul Epstein's numerous properties on both Little Saint James and Great Saint James, his privately owned islands.

One particularly harrowing image shows a number of masks strewn over a wall beside what appears to be a dentist's chair.

A video included in the release also shows a compilation of a 'No Trespassing' sign, an en-suite bedroom, and outdoor swimming pool.

A third room, however, contained an arguably eerier find still - a large chalkboard, bearing an unnerving message scratched in.

The words 'political', 'plots', 'deception', 'power', 'truth', and 'music', had been written, alongside a handful of indecipherable expressions.

Several words had also been underlined, like 'music' - though, the reason for this remains unclear.

The video in question also honed in on a spa, which included a full-fledged massage room and a landline phone, which came with several speed-dial contacts - number of names upon which had been redacted.

What were visible on the speed-dial listing, however, were 'Larry Cell,' NY Office,' 'Darren Off' and 'Darren Cell', amongst a handful of others.

Epstein was said to have groomed and abused hordes of young girls - including some as young as 14 - inside the walls of his island properties, where he regularly invited a number of A-list stars and powerful politicians.

He took his own life in 2019, whilst awaiting trial in a New York prison on sex trafficking charges.

Last month, over 20,000 pages of documents associated with Epstein were released by the Committee, which included information about his prison suicide, as well as private emails, flight logs and court filings.

The Justice Department later claimed that more evidence would be made public in the comings weeks, including 40 computers, 26 storage drives, 70 CDs, and six recording devices - totalling around 300 gigabytes.

60 further pieces of physical evidence are also said to document who visited the late media mogul's private island.

It remains unclear as of yet how much more will be released.
