Just days after Australian surfer Callum Robinson was tragically murdered whilst holidaying in Mexico, his heartbroken girlfriend has shared the series of final texts her sent to her before his brutal death.

Professional sportsman Callum, 33, and his thirty-year-old brother Jake - as well as their close friend Carter Rhoad, also 30 - went missing late last month near the town of Ensenada when they disappeared, having embarked on a surf trip.

Tragically, the deceased bodies of the Australian brothers and their US pal were found in a well in the hours after they were reported missing, having been shot in the head.

It was subsequently determined that the trio had been the victims of a 'botched robbery', with the thieves believed by authorities to have wanted the group's vehicle for spare parts.

Since then, Callum's girlfriend, Emily Horwath, has taken to social media several times to share several tributes to her late love.

Last week, Emily shared a series of images of them as a couple, along with a saved voice message he left her.

In the message, Callum can be heard saying: "Happy Tuesday! Good morning. It’s 11:11 and I’m just thinking about you. Just wanted to drop you a quick message and say hello, baby.

"Hope you’re having a phenomenal start to your day. I’m sensing a big grin on your face for some reason today. I hope you’re full of positivity and smiles."

He finished up the message adding: "Cheers, baby. Miss ya."

Emily captioned the Instagram Story: "Will be playing this on repeat."

And taking to Instagram again today, the grieving girlfriend has once again opened up on the final set of interactions that she enjoyed with Callum prior to his shocking death.

This time, Emily shared a batch of screenshots of the couple's last few text messages, sent to one another in the weeks before his murder.

In a text he sent to her in July last year, Callum had penned: "I appreciate you collecting and visually framing our memories, something you’re exceptionally good at and I enjoy so much. I’m excited to create many more with you veryyyyyy soon."

Another message delivered the same day read: "Happy choooseday, just a reminder that I choose you, this day and everyday!"

Following the triple homicide, Australian ambassador to Mexico, Rachel Moseley, took to X to announce that Australian diplomats and federal police were 'giving all possible support' to the Robinson family following the devastating event.

A GoFundMe has since been set up in the wake of the heartbreaking loss of the three men.
