Devon Murray - also known as Seamus Finnigan in Harry Potter - has welcomed his first baby with partner Shannon McCaffrey.
The actor, 32, announced the news over the weekend by sharing a photo of his new baby son on social media.
"Yesterday 2/1/21 my life changed forever. Shannon delivered our beautiful little boy 'Cooper Michael Murray' weighing 6lbs 10oz," Devon wrote on Instagram.
"Both are doing amazing now after a very long labour and a scary few minutes at the end. It still hasn't sunk in just yet that we have our very own little boy.
"I can't wait to make the most amazing memories with Shannon and Cooper as we begin our little family. I'm so amazed by Shannon and she is now my hero. I'm so proud of her for everything she has gone through.
"I can't wait to have you both home. It's so hard having to leave you both. I will love you both forever until my last breath."
Devon first shared the couple's baby news back in July, when he posted a snap of a scan photo and a cute elephant baby grow. He explained their new family member was due on 14th January, so it seems the little one arrived a couple of weeks early.
The Harry Potter star found out he and Shannon were expecting a boy in August. On Instagram, he said: "So today all my dreams and wishes came true. I've always wanted a little son.
"Thank you so much Shannon for making me the happiest guy on the planet."
Devon isn't the only Harry Potter star to welcome his first child recently. Back in November, Rupert Grint (who played Ron Weasley) took to Instagram to post an image of his newborn daughter, who he shares with actress Georgia Groome.
"Hey Instagram....only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert," he wrote.
Huge congratulations to Devon and Shannon!
