A woman on TikTok has sparked a debate after she spotted her husband 'looking at pictures of other women' .

Watch the TikTok below:

In a truly meta turn of events, TikTok user @lyjones0 watched and filmed as her husband scrolled through TikTok videos, including clips of other women.

She captioned the video: “My husband forgot we got a second-floor balcony.”

The clip has racked up a whopping 1.7 million views so far, and some commenters were offended by the man's actions whereas others didn't think it was a big deal.

Some women criticised the man in the video. One person wrote: “Imagine if men spent as much time trying to please their partners as they did looking at other women.”

Another criticised some of the responses in the comments, writing: “The fact that there’s even WOMEN defending this is so so sad.”

A third asked: “He’s literally lusting other women, how you not upset?”

A fourth summarised their feelings with: “I think I’d rather be alone then stress over someone who clearly has eyes for others.”

And a fifth woman shared: “I [used] to have a husband who did that. Yes used to.”

A married woman shared a similar experience. “Husband does this all the time... puts so much time Into the women in his screen than me…”

Other TikTok users urged the woman to get revenge. “Make sure he sees you scrolling pics of hot guys,” said one woman.

However some people, namely men, defended the woman’s husband.

One wrote: “it’s sad that it’s a double standard. time to look at the relationship and see where the insecurities are coming from.”

Some men said women do the same as the man in the video (

A second comment said: “AS IF WOMEN DON'T DO THE SAME THEY ARE JUST MORE SNEAKY ABOUT IT”.

While someone else added: “Leave him alone..you do NOT own him".

However not all the comments defending the husband came from men or husbands who had done similar things in the past.

One married woman in the comments defended the man, she said: “Am I the only wife who doesn't care if my hubby looks. I mean heck I be up here looking too”.
