A woman who has refused to shave her body hair has revealed one of her favourite benefits about being hairy, and it's not razor bumps.

Seemingly since the dawn of time, there have been unrealistic pressures put on women to look and act a certain way.

And while men are just catching up in the grooming department, women are expected to be perfectly preened at all times.

But one person who is having none of that is Orim, who openly expresses her love of being a hairy woman.

And as well as embracing the natural look, she said it has the added benefit of 'serving as a pervert creeper repellent'.

I mean, who couldn't do with a bit of that, right?

Orim says her body hair serves as a 'pervert creeper repellent'.

In a short TikTok video, Orim boasted about its effectiveness, saying: "I think it has about a 90 percent success rate."

Orim proceeds to recall a recent experience she had while wearing shorts during a visit to her local supermarket with her mum.

She says: "We walk into an aisle, and on the other end, there's an older man - immediately, he's staring.

"My mother is oblivious to men staring in public, which is strange, because she's gorgeous, and I know men do stare at her, but she's just in her own world, which is great, but I personally have a hard time ignoring it."

As they got closer to to the man, and even with his wife beside him, she says, he continued to stare.

"He was looking at me up and down as if he's never seen legs before," Orim explains.

But then they got so close that the man could now see the hair on her legs, and that's when she saw 'his lustful thoughts just completely fade from his face and he looked away'.

Orim says being a hairy woman has one surprising benefit.

Using this as an example, Orim details how women don't want attention, they want to be respected and treated fairly.

"We don't want to be sexualised, we want to be seen as human - and it's sad that sometimes it takes body hair to make you see me that way," Orim goes on.

Concluding her post, she urges women to take their power back by doing what feels good and natural for them.

"I feel like as women its been ingrained in us at a very young age to present ourselves in a way that impresses men to fit into their stupid beauty standard," Orim explains

"Breaking free and challenging the beauty norms is incredibly empowering."

The video has since gone viral, racking up over 11.1 million views, and plenty of people piling into the comments to have their say.

"Body hair is one of my biggest insecurities & I wish it wasn't. I love seeing women be unbothered by it, it reminds me that it's normal," one user said.

Another commented: "As someone who shaves maybe 50% of the time I absolutely agree. It's free creeper repellent."
