Woman brings dad on European holiday after boyfriend broke up with her a week before

People are flooding to social media in support of a TikToker who's dad went with her to Europe after her partner broke up with her.

Planning a holiday with your partner isn't easy at the best of times, let alone when they decide to break your heart, smash it into a million pieces, pull out of the trip and leave you flying solo.

Thankfully, one girl's dad stepped up and filled her ex's shoes, joining her for her 'euro trip' so she didn't have to cancel the holiday completely. Prepare to reach for your tissues:

In a video uploaded to her account - @emmadipalmaa - Emma shares a clip of her and her dad hugging and posing for the camera.

It's followed by a video of them cheersing with a couple of drinks.

The caption reads: "Love you dad. #dad #eurotrip #portugal #breakup."

People have flooded to the post in support of the 23-year-old, the TikToker's video having amassed over three million views and half-a-million likes.

One user said: "Trust me when I say these memories will mean so much more to you forever."

"I so will im already learning sm about him," Emma responds.

Another user wrote: "Your dad is probably thrilled to have this quality time with you and to make you happy."

"He did a favor. This will be something you will always remember. Your dad will stay with u until his last day," a third added.

And a fourth resolved: "DUDE I'M CRYING."

Emma responded: "ME TOO SIS."

In a later video, Emma reveals she found out her ex started 'dating a new girl' one week after he broke up with her to 'work on himself'.

Thankfully, Emma has her dad there to soften the blow and being on holiday in Portugal isn't exactly too shabby a setting to get over someone either.

At least she's out and about rather than sat at home in somewhere like London, rain p*ssing down at the window, crying over a rom-com while devouring a few tubs of Ben and Jerry's ice cream - yes, yes I was doing that two weeks ago.

Emma also goes on to share a message from her dad in acknowledgement of the original post of the pair going viral.

Accompanying another clip of the pair hugging and Emma's dad giving her a sweet kiss on the cheek, the caption reads: "Domenico says thank you for all the kind words!

Emma resolves: "I deserve so much better."
