She began by telling viewers: "I was diagnosed with aquagenic urticaria and basically what that means is whenever my skin gets in contact with any form of water, including my own sweat, I get hives, it itches, it burns and there's no cure."

According to the Allergy & Asthma Network, aquagenic urticaria is a rare condition in which a person's skin develops red, itchy hives after exposure to water.

Because of this allergic reaction, Kym said she has to 'limit herself' when it comes to water contact.

"I cannot be in contact with water for more than five minutes because anything longer than that could potentially put me in anaphylactic shock," she explain.

Kym then continued: "Yeah, I know all of this sounds crazy, but just bear with me.

"Now, before I even hop in shower, there's a process."

This process includes taking allergy pills beforehand to 'slow the process down', however, it doesn't stop the itching, burning or hives.

The TikToker went on: "Now that I'm out the shower, this is where the real fun begins because, at this point, my body is itching, it's burned, it is covered in hives.

"For this process, I'm applying itching lotions and itching sprays just to help cool my body down."

The whole ordeal can last 'anywhere from an hour to two' and gives Kym migraines and sometimes even fevers.

"It's just one of the most uncomfortable experiences," she concluded the video with.

"Here I am unhappy with a little eczema," admitted a third, while a fourth offered: "Prayers to you sis. I thought all this eczema and being allergic to all seafood was bad.!"

A fifth revealed: "I’ll never complain again!"

"I feel so bad for youuuu," sympathised another.

A final TikTok user added: "I really need to be more grateful!"
