Paying rent each month has always been one of the biggest downsides of being an adult - especially if you live in a place where landlords tend to spike their prices just because they can.

But one woman has managed to eradicate that problem thanks to her job, as one of the many perks of her profession.

Makeup artist-turned-flight attendant Alexandra Cosoff revealed last year that she hasn't paid rent for 10 years thanks to a 'generous benefit package'.

The Dubai-based airline is known for its luxurious in-flight experience. I mean, even economy class is brilliant.

For context, its enormous double-decker Airbus A380 is what influencers are usually posting on TikTok.

Albeit they are usually jetting off in the first class section.

But, one member of the Emirates team has revealed how she lives her 'dream life' without paying rent.

Rent is usually your biggest monthly expense - something this Emirates flight attendant doesn't have to worry about.

The 33-year-old told news.com.au: "After I joined, I started in economy class for one and half years, before I got promoted to business class and the business promotions events team.

"I have been so lucky. I’ve had the most amazing time.

"Our accommodation is provided and salary is tax-free – and not just that, we have a lot of other things taken care of like transport, laundry, we have full medical and dental coverage. We are very well looked after.

“What was very attractive to me was also not paying tax on top of my salary.

"I live in my own apartment. You can either get company-provided accommodation or opt for accommodation allowance.

"After I joined, I started in economy class for one and half years, before I got promoted to business class and the business promotions events team," she continued.

"I got to work on the A380s on-board lounge, something I really enjoyed and the promotions team really opened my world to global events.

"I got to stand on Rod Laver Area and present awards to winning tennis players in 2016 and in the same year I was on The Ellen Show (with other crew) where we gave an entire audience free tickets to Dubai.”

To work high up in the clouds has been a dream of Alexandra's 'ever since she 'was a young girl'.

“I remember seeing Emirates cabin crew on TV with their red hats and striking red lipstick and thinking, ‘Wow they’re so beautiful, I want to do that',” she added.

“It’s such rigorous training but you will keep that with you for life – it gives you cultural awareness, how to maintain calm and composure and once you have all those skills no one can take that away from you.”
