Woman confused by boyfriend's Christmas present after she asked for Dyson hairdryer

It's fair to say he got a tad confused...

While the food, family time and general festivities are a great part of Christmas time - there's one thing that I'm sure we all look forward to.

Yep, even as adults, there's no denying we all love a good present haul.

But, it seems one woman was in for quite the shock after being left beyond confused by her boyfriend's Christmas present after she asked for a Dyson AirWrap hairdryer. Check out what she actually received here:

Grace Martinez had the hair care appliance - which can sell for up to £479.99 - at the top of her Crimbo list.

The dryer continues to get rave reviews for its ability to create and set voluminous curls in longer hair and leaves a smooth, blow-dry finish, while being gentle on the scalp.

But Grace, who posts on TikTok under the username @gracemv19, might have to wait a little longer to get her hands on her own, after her boyfriend seemingly made an innocent mistake and purchased a Dyson product, albeit, the wrong one.

Realising the hilarity in her boyfriend’s faux pas, she took to TikTok and shared a video of the Dyson AirWrap she wanted compared to the gift she actually got.

"This is what I asked my boyfriend for Christmas," she wrote alongside a photo of the hairdryer.

She then revealed the item her boyfriend had bought – a Dyson vacuum cleaner – which is equally popular when it comes to household cleaning.

"This is what I got," she captioned the picture, showing the different parts of the unassembled vacuum cleaner.

Seeing the funny side of her initial disappointment, Grace captioned the video: "I forgot to specify, at least my floors are spotless, right?"

Many other people saw the funny side of her boyfriend’s mistake, while others even suggested it might have been a blessing in disguise.

"I have both the AirWrap and the vacuum," one TikTok user replied in the comments. "Trust me, the vacuum will eventually make you happier."

"A win is a win," another person declared.

Similarly, a third person wrote: "You actually got something better. That’s a win."

"Girl this is my dream vacuum," another woman gushed. "I barely use my Dyson hair thing but I looooove my very old Dyson vacuum [so much]."

A fifth TikTok commenter joked: "I’m cracking up, he did listen to ya he heard Dyson, he got a Dyson. I bet he was like 'Why she asked for a hoover?'"

While another viewer shared: "At least he got you an awesome model."

What would you do if you received it?
