A woman has shared the moment she caught her date on Tinder during their dinner. Yikes.

Watch the clip below:

TikTok user @totallykri took to the platform in July last year to share the awkward moment in a video that has now been viewed almost 58,000 times.

In the clip, Kri is seen on camera before stealthily catching her date swiping right under the table as her fried chicken and chips are left half-eaten in front of her.

The social media user wrote across the 12-second video: “caught my date swiping on tinder while we were getting dinner”, and later captioned the post: “Just my luck”.

She also commented under the clip: “She swiped on a guy too”.

After sharing the video, Kri’s post was flooded with comments from fellow TikTokers who shared their advice and urged her to leave the date with their bill.

One penned: “honestly people on their phones on a date is reason enough for me to leave” (sic).

“You’re pretty lucky,” another wrote. “Most people take a while to learn their partner isn’t healthy, you did it one date. Saved a lot of time”.

A third added: “Lol that’s when you unmatch her and say I’m going to the bathroom and never come back” (sic).

“Not just swiping, but actively messaging ouch,” another user posted. “I would *go to the bathroom*”.

A sixth shared: “Leave her with the bill and peace” (sic).

The TikTok creator later admitted that she split the bill after one commenter urged her to 'get two separate bills', to which she responded: “don’t worry I did”.

However not all was what it seemed. Who would have guessed?!

Fortunately, Kri’s date was in fact her best friend, who appears in several of her videos, so she didn’t really have to deal with such a rude potential suitor. Phew.
