A 'traditional wife' who previously dreamed of a high-flying medical career has sparked controversy after airing her views on marriage.

Stay-at-home wife Linda Andrade has caused a stir with her followers after admitting to having 'never paid a bill in [her] life' as her husband Ricky makes all the money.

She once dreamed of being a doctor but, in light of Ricky, 27, reportedly making a whopping $150,000 a month, she didn't think it was necessary for her to work as well.

Describing their marriage as 'traditional', 23-year-old Linda simply takes care of her husband and their home.

But despite claiming to enjoy doing housework, Linda admitted she hires a maid to do the work.

Speaking on a recent episode of Truly's Love Don't Judge, Linda shared her thoughts on marriages being 50/50.

"I believe that modern relationships that do 50-50 are unhappy. It's not natural," she said.

"I have never paid a bill in my life. I don't even know how to pay the mortgage... Bills are so irrelevant. Honestly, they're irrelevant to me."

Linda went on: "I personally love doing household chores because I love taking care of my husband...

"I spoil him, I cook him his favourite meals and I make sure the house is clean. I hire a maid for the cleaning for the most part."

As to how Ricky makes thousands of pounds a month, the 27-year-old works as a real estate investor.

He also has investments in stocks and cryptocurrency.

Linda documents her lavish life as a stay-at-home wife on social media, and often receives backlash online.

Labelling people as 'mean', she defended their marriage saying: "We've been together for a long time - before he's even had money.

"So I'm not trying to just take him for all he's worth."

Elsewhere, others have apparently been encouraged 'not [to] settle for less' after seeing what Linda and Ricky's relationship is like.

In regards to if she'd want the same for her kids, if she has a girl, Linda insists that she will encourage her daughter to marry a man who can 'take care of her'.

But even Linda's father has expressed concerns about Linda and Ricky's marriage.

He admitted that when his daughter told him she was going to be a stay-at-home wife, it 'did not sit well with [him]'.

Linda's dad urged her to be 'self-sufficient' instead of relying on her husband, and to go back to school.

But the 23-year-old went on to say that her education was not her 'priority' at the moment.
