Elsie, from the Philippines, has gone viral after a video of her singing the 1992 Whitney Houston classic 'I Will Always Love You' was posted on social media.

People have been amazed to learn that Elsie, is blind, has never been to school and cannot speak a word of English as she belts out the classic like a professional.

In the footage Elsie sings the song from film The Bodyguard acapella whilst hitting all the high notes.

The video has been viewed more 30,000 times on Facebook and has gathered thousands of comments.

Posting the video on social media, the original poster wrote: "This is Elsie again with another song. She is blind since birth, cannot speak English but she memorized these songs and sings like an angel!

"She has never been to school, never learned English. She listens to songs and learns the song. She has one of the most Amazing voices I have ever heard. She lives in a small fishing village in the Philippines [sic]."

One person commented on the video: "She is so beautiful and so is her voice - she made me cry, it's that beautiful."

Another added: "She needs a music company to hear her. Her voice is absolutely amazing."

As well as talented teens some celebrities have also shocked the public with their singing talents. Phillip Schofield surprised Saturday Night Takeaway viewers with his rendition of Any Dream Will Do from musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Fans of Phil were so shocked that they couldn't believe what they had just witnessed, with some even rewinding it multiple times to convince themselves it actually happened.

In truth, though Schofe's rendition shouldn't have been that surprising. He's actually starred in the musical before, playing Joseph in a West End staging of the production way back in 1991.

Dressed in Joseph's famous outfit from the show, Phil's belting performance blew people away, even impressing Lloyd Webber himself, who chose to make him a West End star over poor Ant and Dec. High praise indeed.
