A TikTok video that shows a man holding his partner's baby bump has gone viral online.

The clip was uploaded by TikToker @mamaruppert - and pregnant women are calling the trick the 'best feeling ever'.

You can watch the video below:

While another said: "THE BEST FEELING EVER!"

And a third added: "The relief she feels is everything."

Meanwhile a fourth wrote: "My husband would carry my belly upstairs for me. it was the most thoughtful thing he could have ever thought to do."

And a fifth joked: "Now if you can just keep holding it like that for the next 12 weeks or so, that would be great."

And a sixth wrote: "My man does this for me sometimes and it honestly really does feel amazing. kind of makes me feel like myself again."

Meanwhile another joked: "What if you’re not pregnant? Is it still recommended? This looks amazing!!"

So is it safe to lift your bump?

Speaking to In The Know, reproductive endocrinologist Lora Shahine explained: “As the baby grows, especially into the third trimester, weight increases and hormones cause ligaments to loosen.

“Gently lifting the pregnant belly up can relieve the downward strain of the weight on the lower back and pelvis.”
